AT&T Launches U-verse in Tulsa

AT&T has announced the launch of its integrated suite of U-verse services, including U-verse TV, U-verse High-Speed Internet, and U-verse Voice to residents in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. The service is currently available in parts of Tulsa, Jenks, and Owasso and will be made available to more homes throughout the area on an ongoing basis. U-verse service is delivered over AT&T's Internet Protocol (IP) network.

AT&T U-verse Service Now Available to Tulsa Customers


In a statement, Ryan Stafford, AT&T general manager for Oklahoma and Arkansas, credited Tulsa city and state leaders with creating an environment that encourages investment in new technology. He added that AT&T customers will have access to a wide variety of features with U-verse service.

Tulsa Mayor, Kathy Taylor, said, "We're a city on the move. Being able to attract new investment, create new jobs, and deliver a new service to our residents is another sign we're headed in the right direction."

AT&T U-verse offers a Variety of Packages and Features

Depending on the service location, AT&T U-verse features include:

• A variety of subscription packages
• Downstream speeds up to 10 Mbps and upstream speeds up to 1.5 Mbps depending on the package
• Up to 320 channels, including music, local programs, movies, sports, HD, and more
• DVR records up to four programs at one time
• Upload and view photos on your TV screen
• Customizable weather, stock, sports, and traffic information
• Play AT&T Yahoo games on the TV screen
• Video on Demand with advanced search
• Parental controls
• Wireless home or office networking at no extra cost
• Free professional installation for new U-verse customers
